Fukusen Main Store, where you can eat, is only a short distance to the hotel. Free parking on site was provided. The property was in front of Kurashiki train station. Honestly nothing too much trouble...

The hotel had an excellent view, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast buffet had a good variety of food, including hand-made sushi and egg orders. The onsen was also enjoyable, and we were served a delicious honey citron tea after the onsen. An added bonus was the traditional Japanese show that we got to see after dinner. The hotel was located near key attractions and local transportation, making it easy to explore the city.
The hotel's smoking smell was quite noticeable, and some areas seemed dated and dark. The tap mixer in our washbasin was broken when we arrived, but the front desk staff was helpful in offering us another room.

The view from our room was breathtaking and the facilities were impressive with an open-air rooftop bath and onsen. The staff was polite and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet had a wide range of options. Additionally, the hotel offers shuttle services to nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the city.
The dinner buffet was a letdown - the food was average and the dining area lacked ambiance. The hotel also advertised a taiko performance and an octopus dinner performance, but they were not available during our stay. Finally, it was hard to see the sunrise clearly from the women's bath.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay with breathtaking views from our room. Enjoyed the delicious buffet for both dinner and breakfast. The sushi, steak, and egg orders were freshly made by the chefs. Loved the onsen experience and the free honey citron tea that was served afterwards. The traditional Japanese show after dinner was also a nice touch. The room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the complimentary gifts.
Disliked that the onsen had chlorine added to it. Also, it was a bit inconvenient that the hotel had a strict check-in time for dinner, and our late arrival left us with limited choices.

The hotel lacks proper communication with guests; our requests were not fully met, and we couldn't enjoy the Taiko performance or octopus dinner.
